This course is packed full of valuable knowledge and skills to serve you on your journey into bodywork. You will explore themes like joints, fascial connections, reciprocal tension, meninges, and many more anatomical aspects that will provide a deep understanding of the body’s systems and functions.
Bodywork is a powerful ancient healing practice that you can learn too. Certification

Is this course for me ...
This course is open for anyone to join, with any level of massage experience. It is particularly recommended for yoga or movement professionals who are keen to learn more about the art of touch, particularly when it comes to approaching and assisting students in your classes. Learning the art of touch will help to build your confidence in knowing how and where to touch a body. As you connect to the sensitivity of your hands you will also develop a deeper awareness of how to feel, listen and heal through touch.
Your journey begins with training in how to refine your senses and discover your own sacred touch. You will be guided to connect to your body, your sensations, your rhythms and nuances – this refined knowledge can then extend to the relationship between yourself as a therapist and your client, where presence, love, compassion, connection and intuition will guide the therapeutic process.
Many of us are out of touch with what we are feeling because often there is not time or space in our lives to explore the deeper aspects of ourselves. In this week we want to create a practice that allows you time for inner listening and tunning into your body. For that we will practice meditation, seated, walking and dancing. Practicing presence, kindness, compassion and equanimity.

Learning the 'what' of thai massage techniques, sequences, theory and philosophy is one thing, but learning the 'how' a completely other thing. Cátia excels at teaching both. I've been fortunate to complete multiple courses with her over the last years (starting out as a complete novice), and each time the experience was profound and transformational. Her trainings are jam-packed with practical guidance as well as having a strong focus on stimulating the student's ability for presence, intentional engagement and loving kindness. To watch her work during the training sessions is immensely inspiring: an experience and a gift in and of itself. As a person she sparks authenticity, patience, kindness, making students of all levels feel at ease and encouraged. I can't recommend her enough as a teacher and as a masseuse. If you are considering signing up for her course: stop considering and just sign up! :) You won't regret it, of that, I am sure.

Emeline
I really enjoyed participating to the Integrated Thai Yoga Massage cours given by Catia for so many reasons. This cours had for me the perfect balance between theory and practice. I came back home with a lot of new knowledge and enough confidence and tools to start giving massage to others. The massage Catia teaches us includes a powerful mix of techniques offering to this thai massage a unique and really pleasant « gentle touch » so much to give than to receive. Catia is a wonderful, passionate professor, therapist and person. She is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in her teaching. The special bounds created between the group, the atmosphere of mutual trust and respect that Catia nicely helps to acheive, added up to the pleasant experience. Personnally, I did not only feel it as a cours, but also as a personal development journey. I am so thankfull to Catia to have given me wings and the opportunity to bring well-being to others. It is a priceless present. I really recommend this cours to any person interested in terapatic and well being massage.

About

With a background in Occupational therapy especialized in neurological disorders, she felt the necessity to go beyond the physical connection and to get in touch with energetical and emotional layers.Through the Thai Yoga Massage, Craniosacral system and the foundations of Osteopathy she found the depth that she was looking for.
The more she learnt, the more creative and fascinating the therapy became, a spiritual dance with an element of surrender, which is rewarding for both the giver and the receiver. She feels blessed for having had the good fortune to learn from so many great teachers and develop her own practice.
